1st Battalion of the Royal Welsh Tribute

Thanks to a request from a soldier who loved the Redcoat tributes, here’s a tribute to the 1st Battalion of the Royal Welsh during it’s tours in Iraq. Featuring the John Tams song ‘Over the Hills and Far away’

    These mens fighting should not be in vain! It take a great deal of courage to do what they are doing. I recently left Y Coy, CIMIC house and out there, its . We need to remember these people!

    Well done to all the lads of the 1st Battalion… Spent the best 8 years of my life with A Coy, 1 battalion royal welsh fusiliers.. left just after they amalgimated to form 1 Royal Welsh.. God bless you all boys, keep up the fine work and make us proud..

    God Bles the Royal Welch. All my family have been in there through the years, Dad, Uncles etc. I hope they all stay safe an come home in one piece. Cymru am Byth.

    Had a quick look at it a few weeks ago. Then left it. All of a sudden the tune came back to me and I watched it again. Think it’s great. I just sent a goody box to them in Afghanistan as they are up the sharp end. Not much but shows that some ppl do care.
