    i agree m8 im ex bcoy ,our battalions very under rated alot of the training ncos from brecon and infantry depots come from the anglians

    Good that ya joining 1RAng! The Vikings (1st Batt.)have probably the lowest “military bullshit” rate (you’ll find out what that means when ya in basic training) in the Regular army, with the Guards’ Regt.’s (the guys that march about in front of the Queen, etc, having the highest!!! :) Just a few years ago, a couple of Viking NCO’s set up the Sniper Platoon’s of 2 other Infantry Regt.s!
    Note that you will have to serve a couple of yrs in the rifle plts b4 being recommended for Recce or Snipers

    1 Royal Anglians (Motto- “Steady!”)is one of the most (quietly) professional regiments in the British Army and therefore, in the World.
    They definitely have arguably the Best Recce and Sniper Platoons going.
    And hey!…Sgt. Benny H., stop showing off to the camera and start putting some rounds down on the enemy…This isn’t a fist fight in town on a Friday night you know! Haha.
