    My son is playing on this video. He IS infantry and has seen active service in Iraq and Northern Ireland. He is off to Afganistan later. The proof is in their campaign medals proudly worn guys !

    very good i am very proud of the brittish army and its bands although i might upset the scots as i know they are very keen on becoming a separate state as do the welch. but it does make me proud to say that we have soldiers like these as patriotic as these fight under the brittish flag

    My understanding was that they are professional musicians, with some limited military duties when the appropriate situations arise.

    Similar to the police bands – (except for the good people in charge of strathclyde police – who thought police work comes first; with a very public outcry)
