Is MARSOC still currently deploying men on missions?

I realize that noone would(should) really know, but nonetheless I am asking anyways.

Asking in regards to the first batallion(?) that went to Afghanistan and was recalled due to some supposed problem with some of the guys or something.

What would they be doing if the SEALs are grabbing HVTs?

Like you said i really do not know the answer but i would assume that MAROC is kicking ass just like Navy SEALs do. I tip my hat to both of them with all respect as welll to everyone else in the military. But like the Navy SEALs they are quite professionals who do not advertise their work so there missions go unnoticed and unrecognized.

  1. What would they be doing if SEALs are grabbing High Value Targets? Probably providing perimeter security on highly visible operations. Other than that, maybe working out at the local gym tent? or maybe wishing they joined the SEALs instead.

  2. Nawww they think war is violent and ignorant, so they stopped deploying people.

  3. They were ambushed, shot back, and then there were dead civilians. The US Army Commanding General had that unit out of the country. They still deploy and train Afghan units, etc.
