SCIPIO – Next-generation command post training
SCIPIO is the next generation training system for brigade-level and divisional command posts (CP) of the French Army. It replaces the BBS (Brigade Battalion Battle Simulation) system. Based on its advanced simulation technology, it will make it possible to reduce the size of the personnel required for headquarters exercises by more than 50%, while making these exercises more realistic and matching the complexity of current conflicts. SCIPIO was developed by MASA Group in cooperation with Thales Land & Joint, which was responsible for the GUI and the integration with the French Army SIC (système d’information et de commandement, aka C2 system).
