Managing Different Age Groups
So you are a manager and you have employees of varying ages. What do you do? Should you manage them differently? In general you should manage them approximately the same. For example, the younger crowd and oldy goldies may have different tastes in music and different clothing preferences but in general the are they same. They have goals. They want to excel at their career They want their salary to increase. They may want to become a manager or owner. In that way there is an element of sameness to employees of all ages. So things remain essentially the same. Find out what their goals are and motivate them to move in a good direction.
