No Desire to Improve…Really?

This statement does not imply that the self-actualized person has no desire to improve; it simply says to me that this person does not allow his circumstance to dictate his long-term emotional health. There is always a constant interaction between environment, education and our development, however my concern increases when we continuously look for someone, something or some event to blame.
I believe James Allen said it beautifully when he wrote, “If circumstances had the power to bless or harm, they would bless and harm all men alike, but the fact that the same circumstances will be alike good and bad to different souls proves that the good or bad is not in the circumstance, but only in the mind of him that encounters it.”
