Even though the day of the vinyl record album being the number one way people get their music has long passed, there’s still something about the disc spinning on the needle that pleases people. Maybe it’s the audio turntables that they can’t resist. It’s not as clear and sharp, but many people think the sound of vinyl is a truer sound than the digital formats used today. The disc jockey with a crate full of records is still an iconic symbol of parties everywhere, even as technology works to make record albums obsolete. Even as DJs all over move from turntables to computer based systems, the audio turntable still plays a big part in DJing today.
