  3. A platoon is about 40 infantry, 4 tanks, or 3 howitzers.
    A company if about 100-120 infantry (3 platoons+HQ), 14 tanks(3 platoons+HQ), and a battery is 6 howitzers (2 Platoons+HQ and Fire Direction Centers). Battery refers to an artillery company.
    A battalion is about 600-800 soldiers. Will consist of 3-4 companies with a headquarters. It will have about 360 infantry and the rest are support troops, 44 Tanks and support troops, or 18 Howitzers and support troops.

  4. A battalion is the basic unit designator in the Army. It is made up of 4-7 Companies (also called Troops or Batterys depending on the type of unit) and in each company you will have between 3 and 6 platoons on average.

    Battalion will have around 1000 soldiers
    Battery will have around 150-250 soldiers
    Platoon will have 16 to 50 soldiers

  6. A platoon consists of 25-100 usually there is 2-4 per company, a batallion consists of 2 or more companies and a headquarters company, theres usually between 800-1000 in a batallion , and a battery is a unit of artillery

Battalions contain several companies, companies contain platoons (headquarters, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc) Battalions usually contain a few hundred troops, while a platoon usually contains about 20-30 personnel. (of course the actual size depends on the type of unit you are talking about… I was Military Police and that was about how many people we had)
